Public Internet Access Program (PIAP)

Public Internet Access Program (PIAP)Leongatha and Milpara Community Houses are pleased to announce that we have received funding by the Victorian Government to provide cost effective public internet access.

The Public Internet Access Program (PIAP) helps us provide internet access for a flat fee of $2.00 to all members of the community (please contact these community houses first to make sure the computers are available).

Foster & District Community House has a non-funded public internet access service (the cost is $2.00 per half hour).

Programmes

ProgrammesFoster, Leongatha and Milpara Community Houses have a wide range of courses  available at different times of the day during each school term. Courses range from Accredited Training, General Education, Special Interest, Information Technology, Arts & Crafts through to Mind, Body and Soul Practices.

House Groups

There are many different community organisations conducting sessions, meetings, programs and services at your local community house. Why not drop in ask about them at your local community house.

Volunteers Needed

Volunteers NeededWe need you as much as you need us. Volunteers are encouraged to actively participate in activities and the management of community houses. The community centre can help you with the provision of support, training and match skills with responsibilities. 

Volunteer opportunities exist in areas like Office Administration, Tutoring, Committee of Management, Childcare, Fundraising, Gardening and General Maintenance (all depends upon what each community house currently needs). Contact your nearest community house for more information.
